In those days..
How much we have longed to hear stories from our grandparents? Story telling is an art. We have listened to so many stories from so many people. Even now, best speakers have always included stories in their speech. When we travel, our co passengers tell stories and make the travel interesting, removing the monotony and boredom.
As Seniors, you will have a lot to share with others. Who would not love to narrate an incident starting with the statement "Do you know?"
This section is meant for you to share those nostalgic stories. The stories must be of yester years and something interesting. It could be your own personal experience or something you know for sure. Like “ You know, in those days rice was sold for 20 paise per kg” or how you used to pluck mangoes from the neighbouring farm; How they used to deliver babies at home; Whatever. The current generation is not aware of these. When it comes from the person who has experienced it, it makes it all the more interesting; Like we used to travel for booking an international call from a Telegraphic office about 6 km from our home to talk to my brother in Chicago. How we used to wait for about 40 minutes before the call gets connected and shout at the top of our voice to make him hear! What an experience it was!
